About the Author:
Delana Elarms-Andrews was born in San Francisco. At the age of eighteen, she joined the US Army to serve her country as a computer specialist. In 1990 during the early part of her seven year tour of service, she began writing her first novel, "A Fool in Love" while stationed in Pyongtaek, Korea. She has worked for the United States Postal Service for the past eight years and resides in Richmond, California with her husband and three beautiful children. She was a member of STARS book club for five years, the helped establish The Ladies if R.A.G.E. (Reading and Gaining Enlightenment); book club, which she has been a member of for nine years and counting. She is also the co-founder of V.I.A. (Village in Action), which mentors teen girls of color. She is a member of Praise Fellowship Bible Church in Richmond, led by Pastor William H. Coleman III.
